Weleda Salt Toothpaste was originally developed in consultation with doctors and dentists. The result is a valuable dental preparation made from only natural substances. Its effective cleansing action is immediately obvious, as is its long lasting freshness. It also has a very beneficial action on both teeth and gums.
Salt Toothpaste is slightly alkaline and neutralises decay-promoting acids, particularly after meals. Half an hour after cleansing the teeth the normal pH is restored. The slightly salty taste is complemented by a mixture of essential oils for long lasting freshness. Soothing myrhh and krameria, together with horse chestnut bark extract and aesculin for its astringent, toning action, are included for gum health.
Selected herbal extracts actively promote oral health; mineral ingredients clean teeth effectively but gently, helping prevent the build-up of plaque and keeping gums healthy and strong. Pure essential oils provide pleasant tastes and long-lasting freshness.
All Weleda toothpastes are suitable for vegans and are free from added fluoride, detergents, bleaches, foam boosters, optical brighteners plus synthetic colours, fragrances, flavourings, sweeteners, deodorants, emulsifiers, disinfectants and preservatives.
